The Safeside Association is organized for the exclusive purpose of carrying out programs to perpetuate the memory of deceased veterans and members of the 1041st (T) Security Police Squadron, the 82nd Combat Security Police Wing, and the 820th Base Defense Group, United States Air Force, and to comfort their survivors, to sponsor or participate in activities of a patriotic nature, and to provide social and recreational activities and organizing an annual reunion for it's members. The official name on the organizational Charter is "Operation Safeside, Inc."
